How do we schedule our trip? Can we cancel?
Simply by phone or by email gary@sundialsailing.com
No Deposit required. Let Captain Gary know what time, date and how many people (up to 6) will be sailing. A phone call to cancel as far in advance as possible is requested please.

Are towels included?
No, all that is included is water and soft drinks. However, if you are a nice passenger, Captain Gary will let you use his. 

Does the ship have equipment to prepare meals on board?
Yes, there is a small grill, two burner stove and small oven, as well as fresh water. 

Do you mix charters?
No, only one party at a time. We want you to feel like the boat belongs to you. "Super star!" 

How do we pay? What forms of payment are accepted?
Give you captain cash or check on the day you sail. Serious injuries and/or drowning can occur from returned checks.

Where can I obtain weather forecasts?
Weather.com, and many other web sites. Captain Gary also checks on the weather (although can under no circumstances control it).

Are there life vests and other safety equipment on board?
Yes, the boat has all required US Coast Guard equipment.

It this suitable for children? How about safety equipment for children?
Yes, well behaved children that can swim and are over the age of 5. Availability of safety equipment and life vests for children depend on the attitude of the child. 

What type of electricity is there on board the boat?
While underway, only one 12V receptacle. 

How about using cell phones?
No problem using them, but why? 

Is there anything special I need to bring?
Boat shoes or shoes with non-marking soles. Bare feet are okay for this purpose.

How about rough weather gear?
Usually, we call this the bar stool, as we do not go out in bad weather. Some foul-weather gear is available on board. 

What about sea sickness?
It stinks! There are some pills available, but we do our best to avoid it. 

Can we book a hotel through your company?
Not at the present time.
